Ingredients:
½ cup butter
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup all-purpose flour
approx. ½ cup fresh dill, chopped
3/8 cup chopped pecans
(Margarine may be substituted for butter)
Preparation:
Combine butter and softened cream cheese, mixing until well blended. Gradually add flour until dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add 1 - 2 tbsp. of water. Stir in chopped pecans and then chopped dill, mixing well. Chill.
Roll dough on lightly floured surface to ¼ inch. Cut into animal shapes (or whatever you have handy). Put on ungreased cookie sheets; bake at 425º F. for 8 - 10 mins. or until lightly browned. Yield approx. 2 doz.
